Concrete Testing
4 Column Concrete Testing Machine
CON4 is designed for testing materials in the masonry and concrete industry, and the CON 2000–6000 kN efficiently generates, files, and displays quality data. The system uses a specially designed test machine and a data filing system for instant access to previous reports. In addition, quality reports can include more than compression test results.
TRAM QA software incorporates all relevant quality parameters into configurable tables, making it suitable for quality assurance, process control, and research. It also supports standards such as EN 12390, EN 772-1, and ISO 4012.
The machine’s stiff design ensures accurate deformation measurements when using the optional sensor. Operators control tests from a computer, while load-deformation curves are generated in real time. Automatic loading head positioning reduces waiting time. Overall, the floor-mounted machine complies with EN 12390-4.
Its extraordinarily stiff frame, up-stroke loading via a hydraulic piston, and optional accurate piston travel measurement form the basis of the CON system. A PC with TRAM QA Windows software turns the machine into a powerful, “automatic” system for generating, filing, and displaying quality data for concrete production. The user-friendly software allows operators to become familiar with the machine quickly, even without prior computer experience. The software is available in national languages as required.
Comprehensive electronic protection prevents overloading damage and keeps the system within safe limits. The software includes a simple calibration procedure. For dusty environments, the system can include a sealed tower arrangement for the computer and printer. A transparent fragment shield with a locking safety switch provides additional protection.
Due to the modular equipment design and versatile software, manufacturers can offer tailored systems at a moderate price.
