ISO 14125 – Fibre-Reinforced Plastic Composites: Determination of Flexural Properties
ISO 14125 specifies the method for determining the flexural properties of fibre-reinforced plastic composites using either three-point (Method A) or four-point (Method B) loading. The standard defines recommended specimen dimensions, but also allows alternative sizes when appropriate for specific materials or applications.
The test measures key flexural characteristics such as flexural strength, flexural modulus, and load–deflection behaviour. A range of permitted test speeds is included, ensuring compatibility with different composite types and testing equipment.
