EN ISO 6892 – Metallic Materials: Tensile Testing
EN ISO 6892 is an international standard that specifies the procedures for determining the tensile properties of metallic materials. The method defines how to prepare specimens, apply tensile loads, and measure mechanical properties such as yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation under controlled testing conditions.
Bent Tram A/S supplies a full range of testing machines and extensometers suitable for performing this testing. In addition to complete systems, we also offer modern upgrades for existing machines, enabling older equipment—such as Amsler, MFL, Losenhausen, WPM, Mohr & Federhaff, Roell + Korthaus, Tinius Olsen, and others—to meet current accuracy and automation requirements.
For more information about this test method, please visit the official DS (Danish Standards) website.
