ASTM D3330 - Peel Adhesion Testing of Pressure-Sensitive Tape
ASTM D3330 provides standard test methods for measuring the peel adhesion strength of pressure-sensitive tapes. These methods are commonly used for quality assurance. When a specific peel strength is required, either minimum or maximum, this test can determine whether a tape meets those standards.
Pressure-sensitive tapes are used in many applications, such as duct tape, electrical tape, masking tape, packaging tape, double-sided tape, medical bandages, and devices.
